Rancangan Integrasi Murid Untuk Perpaduan (Students' Integration Plan For Unity)

Aim: To produce a knowledgeable generation that has excellent spirit and personality, spirit of goodwill and able to take challenges in a whole collective manner.

Objectives:

   1. To encourage participants from the society, teachers and students and all members of the school from the primary to the secondary level in conducting special activities together.
   2. To inculcate the spirit of teamwork, helping each other and to create a harmonious environment in a planned and conscious manner.
   3. To produce understanding and tolerance among students of different ethnic groups in school.
   4. To share facilities, equipment, man power and expertise to carry out special activities successfully together.

KONSEP

RIMUP ialah satu program yang menggalakkan penglibatan masyarakat setempat, para guru dan kerjasama murid-murid dalam kegiatan-kegiatan khas serta penggunaan bersama kemudahan, peralatan, penggemblengan tenaga dan kepakaran.


MATLAMAT

Matlamat Rimup adalah untuk melahirkan generasi Malaysia yang berilmu pengetahuan, memiliki jiwa dan peribadi yang unggul, bersemangat muhibah dan mampu menghadapi cabaran secara kolektif dan bersepadu.


OBJEKTIF RANCANGAN

RIMUP menggariskan empat objektif utama iaitu:

• Menggalakkan penyertaan masyarakat setempat, para guru dan muird serta warga sekolah dari peringkat sekolah rendah hingga sekolah menengah dalam kegiatan-kegiatan khas secara bersama.
• Mewujudkan sikap kerjasama, tolong-menolong dan mewujudkan suasana muhibah secara sedar dan terancang.
• Melahirkan persefahaman dan toleransi antara muird pelbagai kaum di sekolah.
• Berkongsi kemudahan, peralatan, tenaga dan kepakaran untuk menjayakan kegiatan-kegiatan khas secara bersam-sama.

At school level, RIMUP is under PK HEM.It involes koku too.

We have to involve ourselves to make it works. Our school organised RIMUP bahagian Samarahan last year end. The program was very meaningful and it was a success.

This program sounds interesting..seem that our school just a few steps from the housing area..
Can anybody tell me any example of the activities for this program?..may be I can let my GB know about it...

Simple one will be organize a football competition and sukanika and involve all the races.. So each team has mix races.

Actually I prefer having camping activity in the jungle. Only when we are in such situation we will be able to know each other and create a strong bond with one another. Imagine the natives skills in the jungle that the Chinese lack off and help each other for one purpose  Only then, we will forget who we are and which race or ethnic groups we are from.

I had organised a trip with my school's staff to the dense jungle and celebrated our National Day there. That was truly an unforgettable experience. Trust me, it is far better than sitting in front of the TV and watch people shouting "Merdeka".

I noted that when this programme is well organised, it does bring the students and teachers from participating schools closer- "feels good".

In our recent programme, the organisers planned activities like chinese caligraphy; khat and "pansuh ayam cooking competition".  The students really enjoyed themselves and clamoured for more.  The teachers were impressed and proud of the cooperative spirit and their keeness to learn/do from each and every races.

I look forward to hear about RIMUP activities carried out by other schools.

Saya pernah terlibat dengan RIMUP. SMK Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Gapor menjadi host kepada SMK Teknik Sejingkat. Pada masa itu, tema kami adalah Masakan Tradisional. Sekolah saya boleh dikatakan majoriti pelajar Cina dan SMK Teknik Sejingkat majoriti pelajar Melayu. Masakan sekolah saya adalah kuih chang, cincau, air soya, dan sejenis masakan India iaitu muruku (saya jadi fasilitator untuk masakan muruku walaupun saya bukan India hehehehehe) manakala SMK Teknik Sejingkat menyediakan botok, lemang, rempeyek dan pansuh. Hebat betul walaupun persiapan dibuat dalam masa 3 hari sahaja. Kami amat gembira bersama-sama dalam menjayakan RIMUP.

Selepas itu, giliran SMK Teknik Sejingkat menjadi host dengan tema kebudayaan. SMK Teknik Sejingkat mempersembahkan tarian orang Ulu dengan muzik sape live dari wakil SMK DPHA Gapor, ada gendang melayu, tarian perubatan melanau, hadrah, lagu-lagu rakyat, ngajat, joget, permainan congkak, layang-layang, batu seremban dan sebagainya. Diakhiri dengan tarian orang ulu dikenali sebagai tarian long (panjang). Sungguh seronok dapat berjumpa dengan kawan lama di sana.

Satu aktiviti RIMUP yang sekolah kami rancang ialah Perkhemahan (2 malam 3 hari ) melibatkan pelbagai kaum di sekolah dan satu ketika kita pernah jemput sekolah yang berdekatan.

our school is also actively doing the rimup. every year we'll hav 'ngiling bidai'. as our school has many
semenanjung teachers this activity is really interesting and a wonderful cultural sharing.

Di sekolah kami, saya terlibat dengan RIMUP. Saya kena atur program. Program yang biasa kami atur seperti aktiviti sukan dan permainan, perkhemahan, dan pertandingan. Anybody got any idea? Mungkin ada cara lain nak menyemarakkan RIMUP ni, sebab asyik perkara yang sama setiap tahun.

I don't want to go to the jungle. I'm afraid of the snake. I don't what i am going to for this coming Rimup program...... Please give me same suggestions.
