To All SMK St Elizabeth Teachers,

I hope you understand, that we, the students, are really busy.

We have to go to school to study, and go to tuition, and go to piano lessons, dancing lessons and go to church.

Please do not force us to do so many home works.

Once you were students, and you are sure how a student feel if too many home works is given.

Please respect the rights of students. We have choice to do or not to do homework.

You should not punish students who can't affort to complete SO MANY HOMEWORKS.

我们受不了!!不要给我们那么多功课。我们不是很在乎那个状元。我们要的是美丽快乐的少年!
We are not really pleased by straight A's . We want our beautiful memories of youth.

Thank You Teachers.

不要把我们逼疯了.  希望你们会理解我们做学生的烦恼

还是要谢谢老师 每天教导我们. 只是我们不希望你们给我们太多功课  Smiley

whatever you do, you have to know how to use your time. if you want to enjoy your youth then don't take up piano class or dancing class. that way you have a lot of time to do your homework and also to enjoy your time. however, if you want to regret in your later years, you can enjoy now and suffer later. Straight A's might not be your target, but have you ever consider your parents? your future?

p/s - i regret that i did not take up piano / violin class when i was young, and keep my life meaningful. but it is not too late for me to take up piano / violin class anyway at this age....

Nothing is too much trouble, when there is time

Ya, i am also wondering whats happening here?  I was former student of St Elizabeth.  We were very happy studying in that school. No pressure because we did not go for tuition, dancing class nor piano lessons.  But we came out successful.  We passed our exams with flying colours.

Cindy, you should learn to manage your time properly.  Homework should not be a burden actually it should be a helping factor for you to understand what have been learnt.  Yes, if your time is not enough, cut down on unnecessary lessons like dancing or piano which is not compulsory.  You can do it during the holidays or just temporarily stop til after your spm.  The key word is sacrifice.  Hope my words are of some help.

to cindy wong,

you are in pressure / stress situation. go for counselling. it is normal for exam class to have lots of homework. why not you discuss with your subjects teachers to give exercises/ sample questions during class? that way may reduce homework.

If you think you can, YOU CAN!

Are you sure about this?  I was one of the red ants too. Are you a PMR or SPM student? You are most probably stressed out.  May be you should talk to your teachers and even your principal about your problem.  Make an appoinment with the counselling teacher in your school to sort out your time management problem.  Hopefully you can iron out your problems.

All the best!
