Effective Study Tips For Teenagers
How do you study? Many teenagers these days have to learn proper study habits. As teenagers, we don’t like to study and everyone knows that, but the future tells us that you have to get a great job and a great education. We are here to teach you the easy, and fun study habits.

Be Comfortable
Sit in a nice comfortable chair, and don’t go to sleep. The best chair would be a   lay-z- boy because you can sit straight-up or you can relax a bit more and lay back. The best way to study comfortably is to sit in your room with your door closed and tell everyone in your family to leave you alone. If you have a phone in your room, turn the ringer down, and if you have a television, don’t turn it on. If you want to listen to music turn it low, so that it’s not so loud that it distracts you. The Best type of music is country, it’s calming and it has an up beat to it when you need it. It’s not overbearing. Nice and calm.

Food
We are the type of people who like to eat when we study. Grab about three different things that don’t make a mess (grapes, apple and maybe a couple of cookies). Also, grab something to drink, so you don’t look for excuses to leave your room. Remember, don’t get distracted by the food and the drinks, they are there for sustenance only.

Actual Study Time
Split up your study time. Study for about 30 minutes to an hour and take a 5-10 minute break. Ask your parents to help get a routine set in place. When you’re reading your notes highlight important parts and rewrite whatever you need to know

Group Studying
Group studying is the best way to study because you can talk things a out and sometimes if someone makes a smart remark during something important you can remember the important things by remembering the funny things. Have an equal number of people if you want to study homework

Conclusion
Studying can be fun and it has to get done. You have to find the best way for you and continue with it. Hopefully our study tips will help you out. Remember to relax and take breaks; don’t overload yourself with too much information.

EXAM REVISION

Use old exam papers to familiarise yourself with the type of questions you will be asked in the exam
- get  them early!

Do some question spotting to see how frequently certain questions come up.

Revise parts of the course you are interested in and have most knowledge about.

Make a timetable for revision and stick to it.

Summarise your notes from books,  and any essays you have written.

Keep in touch with your teacher and fellow friends to keep a breast of what is going on and swap ideas.

Try to work out the marking scheme and when you are working through old exam papers make a list of the points you think will score marks.

Practise writing `skeleton answers' to old exam questions and to the time allowed in the exam.

Do not think about re-sits - focus on the exam date and work for it!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
