All Chemistry teachers,

With regards to the above question, may i know which of the following is relevant?
I        Evaporation
II       Boiling
III      Melting
IV      Freezing

A. II and III only
B. II and IV only
C. II, III and IV only
D. All the above

The misconception here is whether evaporation is also taken as consideration of one of the process that doesn't involve with changes of temperature.
All sharing are very much appreciated.

My answer : C

As we know, Boiling, Melting, Freezing process occur without change of temperature because heat are supply/release during the process.

However, Evaporation process occur by absort heat from the matter. So temperature decreases.

Example of phenomenon, evaporation of sweat/alcohol from our body is due to absortion of heat from our body. so we feel cooler.
