As a teacher, all topics are important and inter-related. These topics are meant to build a good foundation for your future studies. Try to master the basics of chemistry first - mole concept, chemical equations and calculations - will be related to topics in Form 4 & 5.

Be smart in learning. I think all the content in Textbook are important. As i see, a lot student abandon the text book and go for reference book. All the reference book is good for revision, but try not to study out of SPM scope area. Because i see some reference books in market put too many uneccesary notes in order to make it impressive and contentful. However, as a student, they have a lot subjects to be focused. You cant get rid of any subjects that registed in SPM. Be smart, always refer to Textbook when doing revision. And one thing is you must try to tackle all the pass year questions. After you go through so many questions, then i gurantee you will see the more important or famous come out in SPM area and the less come out in SPM area. I m not saying that certain topics are not important. Form 4 topics are quite famous in SPM, for example, electrochemistry, mole concept and calculation, salt n etc.
