Hi Ang, I am not really sure what you want here. However, a journal is like a diary, where you record the things that happen to you each day. If you are thinking of writing a journal, making use of the five senses to record the happenings would probably help to make your journal more interesting and memorable. However, if you are thinking of answering an SPM essay question, then it could probably be a narrative, whereby you relate what happened according to the sequence of events or incidents. This, of course, can be based on your own experience or your imagination. I am sorry I can't provide you with a sample. I am sure your teacher in your school can help. Good luck.

I see. Good luck in your studies in college. SPM is about about 4 mths away (minus all the holidays), very near indeed, if you ask me. By the way, Ang, I can see that you have are very keen to communicate in English, which is good. I always tell my students that in order to be proficient in the language, they have to read voraciously and extensively. Your understanding of the grammar and vocabulary will be greatly enhanced through constant reading. Reading storybooks, novels or magazines is much easier than reading textbooks, of course. So, to improve your overall command of the English Language, read more of the former materials. Have a good dictionary readily available, in case you need to look up the meanings of some words  Grin.

Slow and steady wins the race ... they always say.  Kudos to you for making an effort to learn even from simple little things.
