Pei Lin, you have to ask your chief clerk about this. The school will bid for the money for the coming year.. meaning the application is done before the start of the school year. I understand that if there is any shortage or mistakes made, you could still write to Bahagian Sekolah to ask for help for the current year. However they have a deadline for that... check it out with them.

Calculation will be based on Emis data from the school so make sure the records are accurate at all times. As for the amount of PCG for each subject, certain conditions / rules apply. I cant remember off hand the details but all schools should have the guidelines already. The next best thing to do is to ask for help/ advice from experienced people from another school who have gone through this process.

I am also wondering whether there is any information on the Kementerian website... Our Bahagian Sekolah has some datail information on PCG in their official notebook. Will try to scan the relevant pages when i get back into the office.

Mr Peter chong,

This is 1st year our school offer the ICT subject.  So is it possible for my school to apply the PCG for this year?  Or my school only can get it next year?

Oh, thank you so much Mr Peter. I had ask my chief clerk about this. She say she will follow up the application based on the students namelist...n will chase for the next time PCG given. Hope that my application is not dump into dustbin again this time because i was surprise enough to know that our school has long enough x been provide the PCG for Mandarin class (news from the senior teacher).

.. you are entitled to PCG BUT your school needs to bit for the money the year before. ( school should already know they are going to have ICT the following year). If you miss out this year, no harm writing a letter to Bahagian Sekolah and explain what had happened, they would usually help..nothing to lose.
