my student ask me about the different between pure metal and alloys
he ask that the different in the ductile, malleable, conductivity and melting point of the pure metal and alloys

so what should i answer

i think that alloy is less ductile, less malleable, low conductivity and has low melting point and boiling point

so can any teacher in here help me to fixed this problem?

thx

Hi,
Alloy is less ductile, less malleable, low conductivity and as for melting point and boiling point - different alloys may differ } some alloys may have a lower / higher melting points as compared to pure metals - depends on the type of alloys
