The engkabang.net forums have grown tremendously over the last few weeks and we thank all of you for being a part of this growing community.
To help you gain the most from this Forums, please familiarize yourself with the guidelines below for participating in the message forums.
1. Check for open topics.- Before posting a new topic, please check to see if there is already a topic open on the subject.
2. Welcome new members.- When newcomers arrive, say "hi" and welcome them. Help new folks "learn the ropes" about how to find information and resources, save time, and how to get involved. You will also find a lot of help using the forums themselves.
3. Use appropriate topic.- Avoid "generic" post topic like "Help" or "Question".
- Likewise, try to be clear and articulate when posting your questions, answers, or comments. Unclear messages/posts only add confusion and may delay responses to your post.
4. Post in the appropriate forum.- Please read each forum description before posting to ensure you are posting in the correct forum. Off topic posts will be moved to the correct forum.
- Please stay on topic. For general conversation about ICT, please use the ICT forum. For all other general conversation, please use the proper forum.
5. Private Messages (PM).- Please do not use the PM system to ask general questions. Instead, post your question in the appropriate forum for assistance from other members and board moderators. Also not to use PM as a tool to promote or spreading news.
6. Appropriate use of Avatar- Please use self potrait as your avatar. We like to promote a clean atmosphere, and avatars that disrupt this will be removed.
- Post your self potrait that your face is big enough for others to regconize.
7. When referring to research or statements. try to cite them, either a bibliographic or web reference.8. Members are advice to use their real name as the display name.- Member's login name will be automatic set as your display name. If your login name can't show your identity, kindly change the display name to your real name.
9. Respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. - The use of inline IMG image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed
