Dear English teachers,
Salam 1Malaysia..
I need your opinion on Question #11 (Section B-Social Expression).. the suggested answer given is
A. No, I'm not...
to respond to the patient's question of
"Are you going to pull out my tooth, doctor?"
However, my doubt is,who is talking first in this situation? I've been telling my pupils that the speech bubble on top is normally the one who talks first, and the one below is the response..(i learnt this during the English Workshop conducted by English JU)... So, according to that theory, the answer could be D,
Dentist: Open your mouth wider.
Patient: Are you going to pull out my tooth, doctor?
I don't have much experience in teaching exam classes, so i hope the other English teachers out there can help me on this issue..
Thank you very much...
