For my class i normally just give them simple notes. Cause from my experience the number of question from this chapter is very limited . Just focus on some of the past years exam questions.

hi, normally i conduct the experiment and from the experiment the student will learn. For me, without experiment, sure the student wont understand but with experiment, student will understand what the notes talking about. Just sharing...

Just want to share opinion here..Smiley
Salts are very important subject..Normally will asked in Essay about preparation of soluble and insoluble salt and chemical test to identify the cation and anion in salt.
Try use mnemonic method to ask student to memorize the solubility of salt.
For eg: All sulphate salt soluble except PCB
All choride salt soluble except PAH
All Carbonate salt insoluble except NAK

I agree with cikgu Ting. Only by doing hands-on activity or experiment students will understand better...That's how my teacher taught us in form 4 n 5 back to 1997...still respecting my chem teacher for doing tht...
