Can student draw Lewis structure in essay?

As I know Lewis structure is not encouraged to be drawn in subjective paper 2. But how bout essay? Student still can get full mark if they draw it in essay part.

Just to share my opinion:

If the question not stated must draw the electron arrangement, then it should be consider correct.

Otherwise, students shouldn't be penalized.

Ya..i agree..
One think i still confuse..According to the text book, electron arrangement of the covalent compound can be illustrated by lewis structure. How bout ionic compound?
For me, lewis structure can illustrate the electron arrangement for both, rite?

my opinion is i always advise my students to not draw Lewis structure unless the question intend for them to do so
