Copper(II) sulphate added with zinc powder.
o.d of heat of displacement is...?
can the answer be "heat released when one mole of brown copper solid is displaced by zinc form its salts solution"?

how about d o.d of heat of neutralisation?

I would answer : Heat of neutralisation is the heat released when 1 mole of water is formed. (score 3)
Heat of neutralisation is the heat change when 1 mole of water is formed. (score 2)

thanx~mr.chai.
so means that for heat of displacement my ans can score 3?
but i wondering how to explain to student seems that o.d require "observation and what should be done"......i mean for heat for neutralisation....

From my opinion, o.d for ur answer heat of displacement can be score 3. My opinion lar..hahaha
Ya, o.d is describe the concept based on observation and what u done in the experiment. It can also describe from what u calculate from the experiment too..From the experiment, u r calculate 1 mol of water, then it is o.d. for heat of neutralisation.
