Hi everyone..
Just need help to confirm as below..

1) can changes of energy be answered just by using arrow, eg electrical energy --> chemical energy or must be written in words electrical energy to chemical energy?

2) Writing symbol of elements with the proton and nucleon number, referring to the text book, the nucleon number should be written at the top left side while the proton number is at the bottom left side of the symbol. Is this the only correct way of writing it?or it can also be written proton number at the top and nucleon number at the bottom?

Need help to confirm this.tq very much.

Hi, juz offering my 2 cents' opinion
1. electrical energy --> chemical energy can be accepted but writing electrical energy to chemical energy will be even better
2. As far as I know, in Malaysia context, that is the normal convention in representing the proton number (in oversea books it is written as atomic number) and nucleon number(also known as mass number) but not the other way around, maybe some oversea books may use that. As for SPM marking, they normally refer to the convention used in syllabus and text books should there be any discrepancies in answers.
Welcome feed-backs and other opinions.
