Dear chemistry teachers..
I'm a little curious whether to give full marks, no marks etc about the answer given by a student below in answering the question below:
'Explain the difference between ionic compound and covalent compound in their electrical conductivity.

I always encourage the students to answer in table form to differentiate anything..but if the student answer in paragraph form like below:

Ionic compound can conduct electricity in aqueous and molten form because of the presence of free mobile ions.Covalent compound cannot conduct electricity in any form because they exist as molecules and molecules and no free mobile ions. (is this  answer accepted)

the answer scheme given was
Ionic compound can conduct electricity in aqueous and molten form but covalent compound cannot conduct electricy in any form.ionic compound has free mobile ions but covalent compound exist as molecule and no free mobile ions.
